Laxiba is a health-focused mobile app designed to help people with food intolerances manage their diets more effectively. It allows users to easily identify and track foods that trigger sensitivities, making meal planning safer and more convenient.
One of the key problems Laxiba aimed to solve was the lack of reliable, user-friendly apps specifically designed for people with food intolerances. Users often struggled to find tools that allowed them to easily identify problematic ingredients, track symptoms, and maintain a safe and personalized diet—all in one place.
The client needed a fast turnaround to bring the concept to life quickly and capitalize on market demand.

The core idea behind the Laxiba app was to gather information on as many foods as possible, their calories, their ingredients, and then assist the user in following a meal plan, as well as identifying potentially harmful foods in case of intolerance of certain ingredients.
The Laxiba client didn’t want to collect any user data — no emails, phone numbers, or logins. Still, the app needed to track purchases and support subscriptions. We used a locally generated ID stored only on the user’s device, enabling account features without storing any personal info.
Having completed the analysis, we formed a clear functional list and application architecture. Following a few clarifying calls with the client about the requirements, we approved a timeline and started work.
We decided on a database structure that would be easily accessible and changeable. Likewise, the app needed to reach an audience of both Android and iOS users.
Therefore, we have planned the architecture from the beginning to have an impressive native performance on these platforms, so that the application would meet all the necessary demands
Users can scan or search for food products to instantly see if they contain ingredients they are intolerant to. The system cross-references the item with the user’s profile and flags potential issues. This helps users make quick, informed decisions while shopping or dining.
Each user can create a detailed profile indicating specific intolerances, allergens, or dietary preferences. The app uses this data to tailor meal suggestions and warnings. Profiles are editable anytime, allowing flexibility as dietary needs change.
Prior to making a final decision about purchasing this application, users can get acquainted with its functionality through the demo version. In this way, the potential buyer receives a common view of the product and manner of presentation of the required data.

Their integration ensures compliance with industry standards (like PCI DSS), giving users confidence and convenience when upgrading to premium plans.
